The least interesting celebrated 2013 films are those entirely overrated 2013 movies which regardless of their faults, received a great deal of praise, even awards. Now don't get this wrong; these movies are all great, just maybe not as great as everyone claims. Agree? Disagree? Either way, share your thoughts here by voting up the movies you thought were not as interesting and voting down the movies you thought were interesting.

Just as no movie is entirely perfect, each of the movies on this list had one thing or another that earned it the title of least interesting celebrated 2013 movie. "The Wolf of Wall Street" featured great performances, including one from Leonardo DiCaprio, but beyond his acting, the movie was kind of meh. The same goes for "Captain Phillips." Tom Hanks brought the real-life character to the big screen with his performance, which fits easily into the most egregious Oscar snubs of 2014, but the film was somewhat predictable.

For others, many expected really amazing things in these films, but the movies simply didn't deliver. Matt Damon's "Elysuim" was to be crazy-good but fell way short. "World War Z," starring Brad Pitt, got a lot of hype but really wasn't anything to write home about. Even the ever-popular superhero flicks like "Iron Man 3" and "Man of Steel" were let downs.

To say it again, all of these movies were good, but few were actually interesting and none were close to perfect. Each has its really, really fantastic characteristics, but were any the full package? Probably not. Then again, they will serve as a benchmark upon which others can build. If nothing else, that's a win, right?
