    Anything But YES Means NO

    From Redditor u/Pregnant_Silence:

When it comes to dating: Anything but yes means no.

For example, you asked someone on a date, and they said they're "too busy" (or some other non-answer)? Anything but yes means no. You told a person you're seeing that you want to get more serious, and they said they need to think about it? Anything but yes means no.

I spent a lot of my dating years waiting for people to be clear about what they wanted. But people are never clear. Thus, you must assume that anything but yes means no.

You're Never Too Old To Start Again

    From Redditor u/JBPorkChopExpress:

You are never too old to go back to school, to start a new career, or get a fresh start. The amount of time that it takes to achieve your new career or degree or life will pass by no matter what. So you might as well get something out of it.

For example, if you are 30 and want to go back to school, but talk yourself out of it because you feel you are too old, or you'll be 34 by the time you get the degree so what's the point. That is the wrong way to look at it. Either way, time will pass. Either way, you will reach the age of 34. So you might as well have something to show for it, go back to school, start that new career, start that new life.

    Don't Care What People Think

    From Redditor u/shprinxo:

Don’t care what other people think. I used to be super self-conscious and cared way too much till some stranger and I were talking. It was one of those late-night conversations with a friendly person outside a gas station; it got deep and he asked me why I cared so much. From then on I just didn’t care anymore. Why does it matter if I wear clothes that don’t match? I’m going to Walmart. I don’t need color-coordinated clothes? Changed my life and I’m so much happier now because of it.
