While there are many things that people love throughout their life, some things may not hit the same as they did when they were kids.     eems everybody is so busy we start to forget to connect, even if it's just for a cup of coffee, hell, I gotta ask people at least a week ahead of time to hang out, sometimes more.

    I also miss the days of hanging out on a whim, like when I was in my teenager/early 20's.

    Totally, I have a friend who lives about an hour away (via public transit) and whenever I go to visit her and we go out for drinks, she says I can stay over. Even if it’s 2am, I always choose to pay for the 47-minute uber ride home so I can sleep in my own bed and wake up in my own house!

    Staying Home On A Sick Day

    As a kid it was a huge victory, got to stay in bed all day, watch TV, and having a parent tend to your every need. Then as an adult you're just thinking about the work you're gonna have to make up for and how you hope you don't need to go to a doctor.

    Feel like this depends on your job. I used to be a bus driver so this wouldn't apply. Kids weren't left waiting on the side of the road till the next day to go to school lol, just got another bus.

    Even now in IT I'd still be able to chill. I may have stuff to do when I got back but depends on the job and how overworked your position is.
