So I guess a bunch of folks are mad about #MODOK a) being Darren Cross & b) not being a serious character. Regarding a), nothing is stopping another MODOK being created from George Tarleton. Heck, Kang might’ve gotten the idea from seeing… 1/3
Tarleton as #MODOK in the time stream. As for b), MODOK hasn’t been taken seriously for decades, if not ever. Look at the 90s #IronMan cartoon. MODOK is comic relief. I cannot recall a comic storyline where MODOK was a serious threat. 2/3
Even the #Avengers game had to put #MODOK in a kaiju sized Kree Sentry body for him to be a serious threat. MODOK is sad, MODOK is pitiable, MODOK is hilarious. What MODOK is not, is a scary, dangerous threat. 3/3.
#MODOK is really a Darth Vader parody huh. Being left as a cripple by the hero, assembled as a machine by the evil space emperor, then dying to help the heroes defeat the conqueror.. pic.twitter.com/XHxPZYWwUx
