Brands like Clinique, MAC, and ColourPop are lining up to support tons of charities and foundations that are looking to solve some of society's toughest problems. Their efforts are really a win-win for consumers – by buying makeup products that donate money to charity, people can give back and feel great at the same time. Whether those funds go to supporting cancer research or finding families for homeless pets, it's good to know that there are makeup products making a difference out there.

  • The Lipstick Lobby Partnered Up With Gloria Steinem To Help Incarcerated Women

    In August 2018, Gloria Steinem partnered with activist makeup company the Lipstick Lobby to create a clear, vitamin E-packed lip balm called "In The Clear." The colorless lip balm raises money and awareness for the unPrison Project, which helps female inmates build skills to sustain their lives post-prison. 

    "We must address the problems as we see it — incarcerated women have the odds stacked up against them and do not have the resources to provide for themselves and their families or to get the help they need," Steinem said in a press release.

  • Fenty Beauty's Limited Edition Diamond Ball-Out Highlighter Supports The Clara Lional Foundation


    Rihanna has made a massive impact on the beauty industry with Fenty, and now the multi-hyphenate is giving back. On August 1, 2018, Fenty launches the limited edition, platinum-silver highlighter, Diamond Ball-Out. All profits go to Rihanna's charity organization, the Clara Lionel Foundation (CLF).

    According to the organization's website, the foundation has several projects that aim to support "groundbreaking and effective education, health, and emergency response programs around the world... CLF also engages in global advocacy with the goal of improving the quality of life for young people anywhere."

    Lipslut was founded in the aftermath of the 2016 election. Since its inception, it has allowed customers to vote on a variety of different charities. Whatever cause wins becomes the lucky recipient of 50% of all the company's profits.

    On June 21, 2018, the brand announced that "100% of earnings through July 19 will be donated to support families that have been separated at the border."

    Previously, in the wake of the violence in Charlottesville, VA, in August 2017, Lipslut decided to give 100% of its earnings to the victims of the attack.

    Clinique partners with the Breast Cancer Campaign to help fund new treatments to combat breast cancer. Clinique has been supporting cancer research for decades by raising money and spreading awareness of health issues. In 1993 alone, Clinique raised $300,000 by selling pink pins for $10 donations.

This organization has helped women across the globe by offering education and funding programs for victim recovery.

    Avon has raised $60 million for women since the program was founded in 2004, and continues to be one of the greatest defenders of women in the corporate world.
