When Marvel and Netflix announced they were making a number of shows for more street-level heroes, the implications and connections that many fans thought would come of it were staggering. Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Iron Fist, and The Punisher might not have connected to the MCU as deeply as fans wanted, but when they did there were always fun Easter eggs to spot. The shows also created their own fun side world that was much darker than the films while still sneaking in small details tying them to their comic book roots.
