The MCU is bursting with some of the best fight scenes in superhero film history. Some of these entanglements pit heroes against villains who are the mirror image of themselves, but there are also death-defying tag team bouts that would put the world of pro wrestling to shame.

Fans can't help but cheer along as the characters combine their abilities to put on a show of epic power proportions that prove teamwork makes the dream work. From the big showdowns in Avengers: Endgame to the cheeky two-on-one rumbles, vote up your favorite team-up moments that had everyone shouting, "Oh, what a rush!"

  • Sometimes, the greatest tag teams happen serendipitously - like the Rock 'n' Sock Connection brought The Rock and Mankind together when the WWE Universe most needed it. The MCU's equivalent of the Rock 'n' Sock Connection is Thor and Captain America's trailblazing team-up in Avengers: Endgame.

Not only are Cap and the God of Thunder two of the biggest Marvel powerhouses around, but they also share godly weapons. Thor has two primary weapons in the form of Stormbreaker and Mjölnir; however, when Thanos gets some heat on him, the God of Thunder desperately needs a hot tag. This comes in the form of Cap's hammer time, as he wields Mjölnir and smashes Thanos's ugly mug with it. Naturally, this scene is one of the most memorable around since Cap is deemed worthy by Mjölnir and lifts the coveted hammer.

  • Any wrestling tag team will tell you it's vital to isolate an opponent in the corner. This allows for more coordinated maneuvers and tag team moves to take place. On the planet Titan, Spider-Man, Doctor Strange, Iron Man, Star-Lord, Drax, and Mantis attempt to corner and ambush Thanos with fast and quick strikes.

What they don't bank on, though, is that this is Thanos's hometown, so he has a natural advantage in momentum shifts because that's just how wrestling works. Even so, they put up a good and crowd-pleasing fight with all the spots expected, as they have the Mad Titan teetering on the edge before Star-Lord throws it all away by not executing the agreed-upon finish.

  • Trios are all the buzz in All Elite Wrestling, but the greatest trio in recent memory is the Spider-Men team-up in Spider-Man: No Way Home. The three Peter Parkers face the highest stakes they have ever encountered, as they need to cure and send their most dangerous villains back to their respective universes.

The odds are against them, but that's exactly what the fans want to see, as Spidey has always been at his best when he appears down and out. The Spider-Men work together in unison, and they have each other's backs as well, including when Peter-Three saves MJ from the same fate as the Gwen Stacy from his universe.

  • Before the Guardians of the Galaxy become a team, they are detained as inmates at the Kyln prison. It also marks the first time they work together and formulate a (half-baked) plan to escape. In this scene, it's clear that longtime pals Rocket and Groot have all the synergy.

Like your typical big and small tag team, Groot is the muscle, holding back the drones and guards and protecting his partner from danger. When Rocket gets hold of a gun, though, he unleashes the inner berserker in him. Groot acts as the heavy-duty shield, while Rocket is the living weapon.
