Workers in China put their new vertigo-inducing glass walkway to the test by hitting it with sledgehammers, and it's all caught on this vertiginous, quietly terrifying video.

On January 13, 218, in Hechi City, workers stood on the 180-meter-high structure and attempting to smash the glass tiles of the walkway with big hammers.

As if that wasn't panic-inducing enough, they then jumped up and down on the walkway as further proof of the structure's strength. Although discolorations appear in the glass, it seems pretty stable.

Watch this video to see some people who really stand behind their work.
