The 25+ Best Metal Songs About Drinking
You can bet there are a lot of excellent metal songs about drinking. Some celebrate a night out at the bar, while others warn of the ills of drinking a bit too much. Whether it’s occasional overindulgence in alcohol or just a preference to consume a whiskey and cola on occasion, these drinking metal songs deserve a toast.
The heavy metal supergroup Hellyeah certainly had one of the best metal songs about drinking alcohol (and doing other things) with “Drink, Drank, Drunk,” a boozy love song of sorts about the joys of drinking and partying like teenagers back in high school. That’s not to say that all heavy metal songs about drinking are carefree – far from it. Metallica’s outstanding cover of “Whiskey in the Jar” is one example. The poor intoxicated lad in this song loves his whiskey in the jar, and loves a girl called Molly, but he robs a man to get Molly money and winds up in prison for murder.
Other great metal songs about alcohol include “Jack Daniels and Pizza” by Carnivore, “For a Thousand Beers” by Tankard and "Blind in Texas" by W.A.S.P. Be sure to vote for all of your favorites!
