He'd Like To Get Rid Of Black History Month
In an interview with 60 Minutes, Freeman expressed that he feels Black History Month to be "ridiculous." He said, "You're going to relegate my history to a month? I don't want a Black history month. Black history is American History."
Freeman went on to say that the only way to get rid of racism is to "stop talking about it."

He Is Worried About The Bees
After learning that bees might become endangered or extinct, freeman decided to turn his huge plot of land in Mississippi into a bee paradise. He currently houses more than 26 beehives on his 124 acre farm.
He said, "There's a concerted effort to bring bees back onto the planet... We do not realise that they are the foundation, I think, of the growth of the planet, the vegetation... I have so many flowering things and I have a gardener too. Because she takes care of the bees too, all she does is figure out, 'OK, what would they like to have?', so we've got acres and acres of clover, we're planting stuff like lavender, I've got like, maybe 140 magnolia trees, big blossoms."
