List Rules Vote up the hyped-up movie sequels that turned out to be huge let-downs.

You waited oh so patiently for your favorite movie's anticipated sequel, but then... Oh god. What a mess. This list of the most disappointing movie sequels ever lets you and other movie fans vote for the Part 2s that Hollywood just absolutely ruined. Can't remember why you were so sad about these sequels? This list has trailers so you can relive the nightmare. Doesn't that sound fun? These sequels are the films that were so, so exciting when you first heard about them ("Yes! Another Anchorman!") but turned out to be a total disappointment.

Whether it's an action movie sequel, a comedy sequel, or a horror film sequel, some of these movies just plain disappointed fans and movie goers, for a variety of reasons. The jokes weren't funny, the stories were played out, or the effects just weren't as cool as the original - in any case these bad movie sequels had you wishing you hadn't paid to see the film on opening night. Many were such a let down, that they considered among the most disappointing movies of all time.

This list features the movie sequels that disappointed audiences the most, including Anchorman 2, Jaws 2, Rocky 3, Tron: Legacy, Police Academy 2: Their First Assignment, Caddyshack II, and Boondock Saints II: All Saints Day. Upvote the terrible movie sequels that disappointed you the most, or, if the sequels that really let you down and bummed you out aren't listed, add them for other film fans to remember, and regret seeing in theaters.
