Making movies sounds like a fun career, unless you get stuck with talent known for being the worst actors to work with. Some of these public figures and famous actors are difficult to work with because they are so serious, some have a reputation for being divas, and some have terrible tempers. This list features the most notoriously difficult actors to work withm and is loosely ranked by fame and popularity.

Who is the most notoriously difficult actor to work with? Megan Fox tops was allegedly a diva on the set of Transformers and was fired after she called director Michael Bay "Hitler." Gwyneth Paltrow has a reputation for being cold to anyone she sees as competition. She refused to speak to her Iron Man 2 co-star Scarlett Johansson, which likely makes her one of the hardest actors to work with.

Bruce Willis is another of the tough actors to work with. He has a reputation for being unapproachable on a film set. Christian Bale is a very serious actor and demands perfection from everyone around him. Catherine Heigl seemingly became one of the more hated actresses after voicing criticism of her show Grey's Anatomy and the movie Knocked Up. She often comes up when you discuss the worst actresses to work with.

    Lindsay Lohan is known to be extremely difficult to work with because of her constant partying and inability to get to the set on time. Her Canyons co-star James Deen referred to Lohan as a "child lashing out."

  • Easily one of the most notoriously difficult people to work with, Chase, who got his start in Saturday Night Live, has actually been banned from appearing on the show. 

    After verbally abusing all the cast members from his seasons and any time he hosted from there on out, in 1997 Chevy Chase slapped Chery Oteri in the back of the head during a rehearsal, infuriating Will Ferrel, who then complained to Lorne Michaels, executive producer and creator of the show. 

    Chase is the only cast member to have ever been banned from SNL. 

    He's also been known to throw around racial slurs on the set of Community and has been factored out of the show after repeatedly getting into public fights with series creator Dan Harmon.
