Vintage Fisher-Price Toys That Are Worth A Lot Of Money Now

When it comes to classic toys, Fisher-Price is at the top of the list. Founded in 1930, the popular child’s toy line came to fame in the 1960s with their incredibly popular Little People line. These vintage Fisher-Price toys featured adorable little figures packed inside fun and educational playsets. While most of the toys were staples in households from the late '60s up to the early '90s, it turns out those old toys you used to play can sell for a pretty decent amount today.

Parents often say that one of the greatest things about Fisher-Price toys is the simple fact that they help promote active learning rather than passive playing: kids can learn by pressing certain buttons or listening to fun songs that teach the alphabet, colors, shapes, numbers, and important life skills. Another great thing about Fisher-Price toys is that they are affordable and are suited for all age groups. But while some sets aren’t worth much, some rare Fisher-Price toys could be worth a small fortune.

Here you’ll get a look at some of the most valuable Fisher-Price toys that were sold on eBay, as well as the exact amount they went for. If you have any old or collectible toys lying around the house, you may want to consider putting them up for sale. Who knows if you’re currently sitting on some of the most expensive Fisher-Price toys ever made.

  • Classic Fisher Price Coins

    Sold For: $777.77

    Year made: 1974

It's hard to find coins like these in good condition, much less an entire set. Sure, Fisher-Price has since made tons of toy coins since the '70s, but if you have a few vintage ones lying around, you could trade them in for some legit cash.

These rare Fisher-Price coins were manufactured in 1974 and were a part of the popular Fisher-Price Cash Register toy set, which parents loved because it helped kids learn the value of saving (and spending) money. This particular listing contained 10 near-mint vintage coins.

    • Fun With Food McDonalds Restaurant

      Sold For: $599.00

      Year made: 1989

Back in the late '80s, Fisher-Price released a series of fun fast food-inspired toy sets. Each came with their own unique accessories and add-ons, which means it's incredibly rare to find one that's complete.

eBay seller cutetoyz sold their incomplete set for around $600 back in November 2019. While their listing appeared to be in decent condition, there was no instruction book with it. The set comes with a built-in sound grill, spatula, French fries, and a drive-thru counter.

      • Vintage Fisher Price Accessories

        Sold for: $500

        Year made: Various years

Have a few (or a lot) of random Fisher-Price figures and accessories lying around? They could be worth a mint. A recent eBay seller was able to offload their various Weebles, Haunted House, and Camper figures for $500. Considering the fact that so many of those old-school Fisher-Price sets came with so many accessories, buyers are tempted to pay top dollar for random parts lots. Who knows, a single lot could contain the missing piece they've been looking for.
