Movie studios are always looking for that major billion-dollar franchise. In the studios' search for the next Marvel Cinematic Universe, however, moviegoers are sometimes subjected to less-than-quality film franchise endeavors. Sometimes, widely successful movie franchises are spun from only one critically and fan-acclaimed film. And that occassionaly can carry a series far too long – looking at you Jurassic Park.
