We Asked, You Answered: Which Movie Franchise Needs To Die?

Movie studios are always looking for that major billion-dollar franchise. In the studios' search for the next Marvel Cinematic Universe, however, moviegoers are sometimes subjected to less-than-quality film franchise endeavors. Sometimes, widely successful movie franchises are spun from only one critically and fan-acclaimed film. And that occassionaly can carry a series far too long – looking at you, Jurassic Park. 

After asking fans for a list of long-running movie franchises that "need to die," we received a ton of responses. These are the most popular (or least popular) choices. In other words, these are the most tired movie franchises - the ones that have run their course - according to the moviegoing audience.
