A Debate Is Raging Over Whether People Who Spoil Movies Should Be Fined A Million Dollars
There has been a renewed debate about movie spoilers on Twitter after Variety revealed some key plot details from the Marvel movie Eternals three weeks before its release date. Naturally some people were outraged that they'd been spoiled and demanded justice. Other people felt like spoilers are just a part of social media and there's not much you can do to avoid them. Then Twitter user @johncampea came up with a novel solution to spoilers and then the debate really got heated.Â
BTW, in light of all the spoilers from Suicide Squad, Eternals and other films... I am TOTALLY ALL FOR press and other audiences seeing a movie early having to fill out a full personal information Non-Disclosure contract under penalty of $1 million or more. Dead serious.

Some people are all for the idea while others felt that a million dollar fine was a bit extreme for a superhero spoiler. Either way the debate sure was loud (and pretty funny). Vote up the spoilery takes you enjoyed.

This is such a reasonable idea, I say we should burn every copy of Dune before its release.

Not to spoil The Eternals for you or anything but at one point they stand around staring off into the distance in a place with trees.

we should ruin someone’s life forever if they tell us some alien named Sprimp dies at the end
