Movies Turning 25 In 2020

How well do you remember the movies that came out in 1995? We're willing to bet you have very fond memories of that year's most notable motion pictures. Who could forget Apollo 13, GoldenEye, or the original Toy Story? There are also plenty of films from that year that you probably forgot existed. Our look back at movies turning 25 this year includes several Oscar winners. Susan Sarandon took home the Best Actress prize for Dead Man Walking, while Nicolas Cage snagged Best Actor for Leaving Las Vegas. Mel Gibson's Braveheart, meanwhile, was named Best Picture. We also remember the blockbusters released that year, from Batman Forever to Ace Ventura: When Nature Calls, and from Die Hard with a Vengeance to Clueless. 1995 was the year Waterworld became an all-time notorious flop and Friday turned into a cult sensation that spawned several sequels. All in all, it was a very memorable year for cinema.
