Vote up the movies that you could only watch once.
Rewatching movies is a way of life. Each viewing is a unique experience. You're able to pick up on subtleties that went over your head before, and you gain a deeper appreciation for the pacing and flow of the film. It's fascinating how you can be watching a movie for the fifth time and still only notice something for the first time. That's why it is possible to rewatch movies without getting bored, but that doesn't mean every movie is meant to be rewatched. Some films leave such an impact that it can be difficult to go back to them. Watchworthy fans are sharing the movies they love but can never watch again, and they're naming a ton of emotionally draining films. Which of these did you also like but wouldn't rewatch?
Requiem for a Dream. Absolutely beautiful story, amazing performances, haunting score, but just such an emotionally scaring film, I could not sit through it ever again.
The Boy in the Striped Pajamas….. the last scene plays through my head regularly. HIGHLY recommend, frankly I think everyone should see it… but it will hurt!
