Headmaster Hutchinson, Played By Sam The Eagle, Has Some Staunch American Values
In TheMuppet Christmas Carol, Sam the Eagle is playing Headmaster Jacob Hutchinson when he describes loving business as the "American Way". When Gonzo (playing Charles Dickinson) leans in to correct him, he calls the Headmaster 'Sam', his actual name instead of his stage name.
In The Muppet Christmas Carol (1992) Bean Bunny notices Gonzo and Rizzo pass by, symbolizing that the story has caught up to real time and they are no longer invisible storytellers. This is also confirmed by the footprints the two leave behind.
