On March 13, 2018, Craig Mack's producer confirmed the rapper had died the previous day. Mack had a relatively successful career in the rap world in the late '90s and early 2000s. In 2012, Mack announced he had found religion via the South Carolina Pentecostal church. Mack, who was 46, passed away from heart failure.

Patrick Doyle, the drummer for Veronica Falls and songwriter for Boys Forever and Basic Plumbing, died on March 4 at the age of 32. A cause of death was not initially given.
Doyle was one of the founding members of Veronica Falls. He performed solo as well, and contributed to groups including Sexy Kids and The Royal We.
Barbara Ann Alston
Barbara Ann Alston, the co-founder and lead singer of '60s girl group The Crystals, died on February 16 at the age of 74. According to her family, she had been battling the flu.
Phil Spector discovered Alston and The Crystals while recording demos, and under his management the group recorded several hits in the early and mid '60s. Their most popular songs included "There's No Other (Like My Baby)," "Uptown," and the controversial "He Hit Me (And It Felt Like a Kiss)." But Alston soon left The Crystals; she was apparently shy about being in the public eye. The group ultimately disbanded in 1968.
