Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker is going to provide players with the ultimate ninja experience, coupled with the ability to create their own dream shinobi teams. Teamwork is going to be essential in this game, especially since the title is styled around four-on-four arena-style battle. From the original Team 7 to new and exciting match-ups, there are endless possibilities in team creation.
With the confirmed character roster, interested gamers are able to see which of their favorite ninja will be up for grabs. This doesn't even include the original character creation tool that lets gamers create their own ninja from scratch. It's not entirely clear how teams will work with these new personalized ninjas, but it looks like it will be making the gameplay that much better. It'll be thrilling to break the Naruto mold a bit and construct our own dream teams, but the show provided us some truly epic and balanced teams to experiment with in game.
For those longing for the good ol' days, Shinobi Striker allows players to recreate the original Team 7, otherwise known as Team Kakashi. Back then, Kakashi was still teaching students, but in the game the main cast is all grown up, meaning they're infinitely more powerful than they were when they were tikes.
For those familiar with the series, they'll know exactly how this team is balanced. Sakura is an excellent support character/healer, Kakashi would lead thanks to his years of experience, Sasuke would serve as tactician, and Naruto would remain the wildcard.
Wouldn't it be interesting to see a team of characters that share one common, powerful attribute? This dream sharingan team would be composed of Sasuke, Itachi, Kakashi and Sarada. While this team may lack strategic diversity, each of these characters have unique attributes aside from their sharingan that would provide a bit more variety.
Sarada has abilities handed down by her mother (which includes healing abilities), Sasuke still has the amaterasu, Kakashi can copy most ninjutsus, and Itachi can use his Infinite Tsukiyomi.
This team operated from the shadows for most of the show, and it was rare to see them all gathered together. Itachi, Kisame, Konan, and Pain were more or less the antagonists of the series, and they each had exceptional capabilities that made them tough to beat. They also provided some of the best fights from the series, like Sasuke versus Itachi or Naruto versus Pain.
This team isn't exactly even seeing as they're left without a healer, but it would have two defensive characters with Konan and Kisame. It might be worth descending into depravity for a bit of fun.
The original Team 7 may be from the Hidden Leaf Village, but there are plenty of other home-grown and talented shinobi that call the land of fire home. A player could build their team around any number of strategies.
One smart team would be Hinata, Shikamaru, Rock Lee, and Choji. Shikamaru and Hinata would handle healing/support, while Rock Lee and Choji deal out massive amounts of damage.
