"Nebraska" movie quotes follow a father and son on a road trip to collect prize money and come across outstanding debtors along the way. The drama was filmed in black and white by director Alexander Payne using a screenplay written by Bob Nelson. After premiering to acclaim at the 2013 Cannes Film Festival, "Nebraska" opened in theaters in the United States on November 15, 2013.

In "Nebraska," Woody Grant (Bruce Dern) receives a notification from a shady sweepstakes company noting that he's been authorized to receive $1 million. Taking that as a legitimate contract, Woody sets out, on foot, from Billings, Montana, to Lincoln, Nebraska, to collect the prize. He doesn't get long before he's picked up by police and released to his son David (Will Forte). David tries to tell Woody that it's a scam but ends up agreeing to drive Woody across the country.

Both in their hometown and along the way, they run into various friends and family members who have heard of the winning news, including many that have debts with Woody left to settle. Kate (June Squibb) thinks Woody is crazy, older son Ross (Bob Odenkirk) sides with David that it's a sham and Ed, a longtime friend Ed (Stacy Keach) is eager to get his piece of the windfall and is ready to blackmail his way into his share. This makes things tricky, especially since they may not even be any money to give.

"Nebraska" joins theaters already buzzing with films like "Sunlight Jr.," "Last Vegas," "Ender's Game, "The Counselor," "Bad Grandpa," "Escape Plan," "The Fifth Estate," "Captain Phillips," "Gravity," "Machete Kills," "Runner Runner," "Don Jon," "Rush, "Prisoners,", "Enough Said," "The Family," and "Riddick,".

David: "You want another beer?"
Woody: "I suppose."
Ed: "Hey there, Davey boy, make some room. How's it going, cowboy?"
David: "It was going fine."
Ed: "Woody"
Woody: "Ed"
Ed: "Well enough of this chit chat, it's time to get down to business. Woody, I tried to tell your boy that you wouldn't mind using some of your winnings to even the score with your old pal Ed."
Woody: "Well, how much you need? I got a 20."
Ed: "A 20, no, no, no, I was thinking more along the lines of $10,000."David: "Give him $10,000, dad."
Woody: "I don't got it yet."
Ed: "Woody, I always though we was friends. Remember, I was the one who convinced you to stay with Kate. Oh yeah, Davey, your dad wanted to get a divorce because he was screwing some half-breed down at the reservation. He thought he was in love. Ain't that right, Woody?"
David: "When was this, Dad?"
Ed: "After Ross was born, before you… You know if I hadn't been around you might not even be here. Back then divorce was a sin. Nowadays I guess it's okay. God must have changed his mind or something. Although I really didn't blame you, Woody, because, well, Kate was always a bitch."
David: "Get the hell away from us."
Ed: "I want that money."
David: "Move!"
Ed: "Okay, little Davey, have it your way but this is the last time that old Eddie boy is going to play nice."

After unsuccessfully trying to bully David into making sure he receives some of the winnings, Ed confronts Woody and David in a bar and brings up secrets from the past. It appears that Ed is ready to blackmail the family should they stiff him, something David tries to put a stop to real quick.

David: "Dad, I can't let you go."

Kate: "I never knew the son of a bitch even wanted to be a millionaire. He should have thought about that years ago and worked for it."
David: "How much longer is he going to be around? What's the harm in letting him have his little fantasy for just a couple more days?"

Woody's wife, Kate, is critical of his desire to travel to Nebraska to gather his money. David on the other hand is coming around to the idea, only to let his father enjoy his delusion while he can.
