    Freddy's Nightmares (1988), a short-lived anthology horror TV series inspired by the Nightmare on Elm Street franchise. While most episodes were random horror stories not related to the films, one episode acted as a Freddy Krueger origin story ("No More Mr. Nice Guy") and serves as a prequel of sorts to the movies.
