No Escape movie quotes tell the story of one American family forced to fend for their lives during a coup in Southeast Asia. The action thriller was written by brothers John Erick and Drew Dowdle with John Erick Dowdle also serving as the director. No Escape opened in theaters in the United States on August 26, 2015.
In No Escape, father Jack Dwyer (Owen Wilson) moves his wife, Annie (Lake Bell), and daughters, Lucy (Sterling Jerins) and Beeze (Claire Geare), to Southeast Asia to begin a new career. While all are hesitant about moving from America to the other side of the globe, they soon begin to enjoy their new surroundings.
This all changes, however, when their town becomes home to a coup leading to armed troops in the street, men with machine guns in helicopters and crowds of locals indiscriminately shooting foreigners on the spot. With help only from one ally, Hammond (Pierce Brosnan), and few options, Jack is forced to keep his family safe and escape the war zone via the American embassy. This totally wasn't part of the job description. No Escape joins theaters already showing other great films such as She's Funny That Way, We Are Your Friends, American Ultra, and Straight Outta Compton.
