This list of Holocaust survivors features information about people who survived the Holocaust. Over 200 of the most famous Holocaust survivors have been listed, with pictures, and many of the entries have additional biographical data. This Holocaust survivors list includes many Jews, but we mustn't forget the Gypsies, gays, and other groups the German Nazis targeted. That said, it's the Jewish community who spearheads the effort to ensure that death camps, such as those in World War II Germany and its neighboring countries, never happen again.

It is also these victims who rebuff Holocaust denial, the deniers who claim the medical experiments and gas chambers of the Third Reich were exaggerations if not complete fabrications. If you are looking to find out who were the most well-known Jews who survived the Holocaust, they are here, and they would certainly say otherwise to the deniers. Some of the most famous survivors of the Holocaust include director Roman Polanski, concert promoter Bill Graham, and sex therapist Dr. Ruth Westheimer.

Who are the notable Holocaust survivors and important people who were in the Holocaust? Take a look at this list to find out. And be sure to vote for your favorite famous Holocaust movies as well.
