Sports are usually a young person's game, but this list of the oldest MVP winners in sports history is proof that you don't have to be in your 20s to remain a star athlete. Barry Bonds is maybe the prototypical older All-Star, winning four MVPs after the age of 35 and setting numerous MLB records. Bonds is also one of only two players in major sports history to win MVP at the age of 40 or later. The other is Tom Brady, one of the best players in NFL history and one who did not allow age to slow him down in his pursuit of greatness. Meanwhile, Karl Malone is the only player in NBA history to be named MVP after the age of 35, and no one has accomplished the feat in the NHL since Eddie Shore in 1938.
