Lupin Lived In Poverty After The First Wizarding War

    From Redditor u/gohankr:

By the early 1990s, Lupin was living in poverty, in a tumbledown, semi-derelict cottage in Yorkshire. Albus Dumbledore tracked Lupin down in the summer of 1993, and offered him the post of Defense Against the Dark Arts Professor at Hogwarts. Thus again returning to the only place where he truly happy and felt like home.

Mr. Weasley Was Saved From Being Killed Off Because Harry Was Losing Too Many Father Figures

    From Redditor u/colourandcinema:

I once read in an interview with JK Rowling that the reason she changed her mind about killing off Mr. Weasley after the snake attack was that of all of Harry's father figures who die, it didn't seem fair to kill the one who was the least flawed.

Snape Was So Talented He Infiltrated The Death Eaters And Fooled Voldemort At Age 20

    From Redditor u/Cheese_Lord_Eggplant:

Being 20 years old at the time, though, is also pretty impressive. It means a couple of things. One is that he was already a Death Eater at 20, and a fairly important one, it seems. Another is that, at 20, he was already a skilled enough Occlumens to fool Lord Voldemort himself.

Molly And Arthur Were Considered 'Blood Traitors' For Joining The Order

    From a former Redditor:

I think they also get looked down upon for being "blood traitors." Families who have a pureblood superiority complex (e.g. the Malfoy family) are disgusted by the Weasleys for having Pureblood status, yet socializing with and supporting Halfbloods and Muggle-borns. I think because of this hatred for the Weasleys, some people would do anything they could to make them feel "less than," so their lack of wealth was just another thing to bully them about.
