48 People Describe Their Home States Without Using The Names
From sea to shining sea (and beyond), the 50 states that comprise the United States cover a lot of ground. So it's not surprising that the various locales have their own unique landscapes, cultures, and ways of life. But what's to separate the palm trees in Hawaii from those in Florida? Or one flat state full of cornfields from an adjacent flat state full of cornfields?
These clever riddlers each found a way to identify their state apart from the rest - sometimes using only one word. Some of the answers had us nodding our heads, some made us laugh, and others we're still a bit puzzled about. So vote up the answers that best summarize the state, at least according to its reputation.
