Pixar movies have been an indelible and beloved part of pop culture for the better part of almost three decades, so it is always shocking when someone notices an error regarding the plot or the characters. Over on Reddit, people are sharing the small (and not so small) plot holes they found in Pixar films. Here are a few catches that we can't stop thinking about.
In the original Monsters Inc., Mike says “You’ve been jealous of my good looks since the 4th grade!” In the follow up Monsters University, they meet for the first time.
Why couldn't Bing Bong be put in the Magic Bag of Memories?
If all the imaginary boyfriends could fit in there without affecting the weight, why couldn't Bing Bing jump in the bag so he wouldn't make the cart too heavy?
Recap: Gabby Gabby is the antagonist of Toy Story 4 (for at least the first 80% of the movie). She has a broken voice box, and a lot of insecurity issues stemming from that. She spends most of the movie trying to steal Woody’s functional voicebox to replace her own, so that she can impress the antique store owners granddaughter.
My question is why she doesnt just use her supernatural talking ability to override her broken voicebox? We know that humans can hear this talking. Sid did in the original Toy Story, and there are numerous examples inside of Toy Story , like the dinosaur shouting instructions to the dad driving and buzz reminding bonnie about her lost backpack.
So whats to stop her from talking whenever someone pulls her cord?
She would have to disable her voicebox, but it seems like she could easily do that by removing the record.
The whale from Finding Nemo eats Marlin and Dory and then blows them out his blowhole. But the blowhole isn’t connected to the mouth in any way in real whales.
