The Best PlayStation 4 Characters

The PS4 is still in its infancy, but by the end of 2014, it's proven to be the strongest entry in this latest generation of video game consoles. Already, we've had a great series of video game characters who've become completely iconic not just for the PlayStation, but for gaming as a whole. In building this list, we look toward all the video game characters that have been entertaining us so far. 

Now that Nathan Drake has become the official mascot of Sony gaming, it's obvious that every console is going to have at least one entry in the Uncharted series. But with that comes some remastered games, with characters like Joel and Ellie from The Last of Us, as well as yet another LittleBigPlanet entry, bringing Sackboy around for the third time. We've also got one of the first crowdfunded console games in Broken Age, and finally, after a long wait, Octodad makes his way over to the console market.

This list compiles all of these, and shows that, above all, the PlayStation 4 has a wealth a characters to draw from, and its future is very bright indeed.
