"Pompeii" movie quotes tell the story of one gladiator who fights against time to save himself and his love from the soon erupting Mount Vesuvius. The disaster adventure film was written by Janet Scott Batchler, Lee Batchler, and Michael Robert Johnson and directed by Paul W.S. Anderson. "Pompeii" opened in theaters on February 21, 2014.

In "Pompeii," Milo (Kit Harington) is a slave in Pompeii in the year AD 79. He soon finds himself as a gladiator in the Roman colosseums and a quite successful gladiator at that. But despite his success, Milo is stuck in the indentured gladiator world with little chance that he will ever see freedom anytime soon.

This becomes a problem for Milo when he and the other Pompeii residents begin to feel the vibrations of Mount Vesuvius, the nearby volcano that is soon to erupt and kill them all. See Milo is in love with Cassia (Emily Browning) who has been betrothed to a corrupt senator (Keifer Sutherland) and wishes nothing more to save her and himself and get both of them far away from Pompeii before the Roman city is buried from the eruption. Jared Harris, Jessica Lucas, Carrie-Anne Moss and Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje all co-star in the epic.

If "Pompeii" doesn't interest you, there are many other films in theaters at the same time including "Monuments Men, "Winter's Tale, "RoboCop (2014), "About Last Night," "Vampire Academy "The Lego Movie, "Gimme Shelter," "I, Frankenstein," "Ride Along," "Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit, "The Wolf of Wall Street, "The Secret Life of Walter Mitty, "Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues" "Her," "American Hustle," "12 Years a Slave," and "Frozen".

Milo: "Whatever is happening here, my god is going to stop it now. Find freedom, my friend."

Milo remains optimistic of the situation with the hope that his god will save them from the imminent death. Not to spoil the movie but his god has some tough work ahead for that to happen.
