After Infinity War, audiences left theaters with hearts full of sorrow and dozens of questions. Since the April 2018 release, fans have been going over Infinity War Part 2 theories and puzzling over something Kevin Feige and Marvel Studios have been holding close to their chests: "What will Avengers 4 be called?"
Of course, the internet is rife with MCU Phase 4 theories - including some ideas on Infinity War's sequel title - and fans are using every tool available to hone their predictions, from comic book lore to random quotes spouted by MCU characters. On September 19, 2018, the film's screenwriters Joe and Anthony Russo posted a teaser on Twitter, and many fans speculated that the black and white photo of one of the brothers writing on a laptop in the studio holds the key to the film's title. Some believe it will simply be called Avengers 4. Others gleaned Endgame from the elusive photo.
Some of these possible titles for Avengers 4 may seem like a stretch or completely out of the realm of possibility, but then again, so did some of the events of Infinity War.
Editor's Note: On Friday, December 7, 2018, Marvel Studios announced that the official title for the film is Avengers: Endgame.
