The science fiction adventure movie, in part produced by Michael Bay, was written by Jason Harry Pagan and Andrew Deutschman, and directed by Dean Israelite. “Project Almanac” opened in theaters on January 30, 2015.

In “Project Almanac,” David (Jonny Weston), Quinn (Sam Lerner), Adam (Allen Evangelista) and Christina (Virginia Gardner) all are dealing with various teen issues like high school crushes, money issues and bullies. So when David discovers himself, at his current age, in an old video from his seventh birthday party, a discovery that leads them to find a time machine called Project Almanac, they see an opportunity to go back in time to fix all their woes.

But as much fun as they are having with time travel in winning the lottery, getting the girl, which for David is Jessie (Sofia Black D'Elia), and getting revenge on their bullies, their actions also have some unintended consequences. Wars and riots break out. People they love up and disappear. Things are going awry and it’s up to the teens to fix what they broke. To do that, David must travel back to the time of his seventh birthday party to get to the bottom of things, even if that is highly dangerous.
