Hagrid's Wand/Pink Umbrella Is A Testament To The Power Of The Elder Wand
We know that in Hagrid's third year he was framed by Voldemort and subsequently expelled, with the result that his wand was snapped in half. He was, of course, allowed to keep the pieces... We learn in both Chamber of Secrets and Deathly Hallows that wand repair is difficult or impossible. The magic from a broken or 'repaired' wand will be feeble at best, and any moderate to powerful spells can cause the wand to fall apart again.
But Dumbledore had the Elder Wand, which we know can restore broken wands to a fully functioning state. So he repaired Hagrid's wand and hid it in the umbrella for use in picking up Harry...
In the Harry Potter Movies (2001-2011), Snape's costume was the only one that never changed. According to costume designer, Jany Temine: `Because, it was perfect. When something is perfect you cannot change it.'
