Whether on the big screen or in your living room, there's nothing quite like watching a good old fashioned action-adventure movie. Indiana Jones delivers classic treasure hunting and charm. Captain Jack Sparrow takes us on quirky expeditions on the high seas. The Goonies rally us to "Never Say Die!" Beyond all their excitement, one of the things that make these movie so fun is the detail they put into props and costuming. If you ask around the internet, fans will point out some truly exceptional examples. If you've ever wondered how they got that epic shot of the ark's shadow in Raiders of the Lost Ark, well, it's a little simpler than you might think. (Imagine a piece of cardboard.) In Hook, amongst all the Captain's prized belongings, a record player rests next to his armchair, allowing him to use his hook as a needle. Sometimes the details are a little revealing. For example, in Jumanji, if you look closely, it's plainly visible that Peter's monkey tail is operated by a string.
