Mixing elements of punk rock and rap, rapcore rose to popularity and prominence during the 1990s. Over the course of these salad years, rapcore dominated the airwaves, did extremely well, and its bands sold out concerts across the world. The heavy nature of the music - which has hardcore punk, heavy metal and hip hop, mixed with a little screamo and metalcore - was unlike anything people heard at the time of its inception. Rapcore groups ruled the charts and dominated headlines internationally (sometimes even in bad ways too, i.e. Woodstock '99).
So, what are the best rapcore bands? Any list of rapcore artists has to include the names Limp Bizkit, Slipknot, Linkin Park, Papa Roach, Lil Jon, Attila, and Rage Against the Machine. While most of the dominant and popular rapcore bands were around in the 1990s, the genre is still thriving today. In fact, many of the best rapcore bands still play live and serve as attractive draws on the touring circut.
That said, it's up to you to determine who the top rapcore bands of all time are. This list answers the questions "who are the best rapcore bands of all time?" and "who is the greatest rapcore musician ever?" If you know enough about the genre, please vote based on the quality of the singers' and groups' music (albums and songs) instead of just voting for the most popular, famous, or newer rapcore bands that you might've heard of.
