Aaron Dontez Yates (born November 8, 1971), better known by his stage name Tech N9ne (pronounced "tech nine"), is an American rapper, singer, songwriter, record producer, actor, and entrepreneur. In 1999, he and business partner Travis O'Guin founded the record label Strange Music. He has sold over two million albums and has had his music featured in film, television, and video games. In 2009, he won the Left Field Woodie award at the mtvU Woodie Awards.His stage name originated from the TEC-9 semi-automatic handgun, a name given to him by rapper Black Walt due to his fast-rhyming Chopper style. Yates later applied a deeper meaning to the name, claiming that it stands for the complete technique of rhyme, with "tech" meaning technique and "nine" representing the number of completion.

Taymor Travon McIntyre (born June 16, 2000), better known by his stage name Tay-K, is an American rapper from Arlington, Texas. He is best known for his hit song "The Race", which charted at number 44 on the US Billboard Hot 100 following McIntyre's arrest in Elizabeth, New Jersey, after a nationwide manhunt. McIntyre started his rap career as part of the rap group Daytona Boyz alongside rappers Pimpyz and Santana Sage. The group released their first track "Drift" on audio distribution platform SoundCloud in December 2014. The group released a series of songs, barely getting attention as they performed at various parties attempting to create a presence in the local rap scenes.

Colson Baker (born April 22, 1990), known professionally as Machine Gun Kelly (abbreviated as MGK), is an American rapper and actor from Cleveland, Ohio. MGK embarked on a musical career as a teenager, releasing a mixtape in 2006. He went on to release four more mixtapes.
MGK then secured a recording contract with Bad Boy and Interscope Records in 2011. His major label debut album, Lace Up, was released in October 2012 to positive response from critics. The record contained the singles "Wild Boy", "Invincible", "Stereo", and "Hold On (Shut Up)", and debuted at number four on the US Billboard 200 chart; it was later confirmed to have sold more than 178,000 copies. In early 2015, he released the singles "Till I Die" and "A Little More" for his second studio album, General Admission, which released in October 2015, and debuted at number four in the US. The album incorporated darker tones, rap rock, R&B, and storytelling. His third studio album, Bloom, was released on May 12, 2017, preceded by "Bad Things" with Camila Cabello, peaking at number 4 on the Billboard Hot 100, his highest charting single. His fourth studio album, Hotel Diablo, was released July 5, 2019. It was supported by three singles: "Hollywood Whore", "El Diablo", and "I Think I'm Okay".
MGK is also an actor, having made his film debut in the 2014 romantic drama Beyond the Lights. He has appeared in several other films and had a recurring role on the Showtime series Roadies in 2016.

Mack 10

Dedrick D'Mon Rolison (born August 9, 1971), better known by his stage name Mack 10, is an American rapper and actor. He has sold nearly 11 million records independently combining his solo and group works. Mack 10 made his first appearance on Ice Cube's 1994 "Bootlegs & B-Sides" compilation on the remixed track "What Can I Do?" and was a member of hip hop supergroup Westside Connection along with WC and Ice Cube. Mack 10 is also the founder of independent record label Hoo-Bangin' Records and got his stage name from the Ingram MAC-10 submachine gun.

Andre Louis Hicks (July 5, 1970 – November 1, 2004), better known by his stage name Mac Dre, was an American rapper, hip hop pioneer, and record producer based in Vallejo, California. He was instrumental in the emergence of hyphy, a cultural movement in the Bay Area hip-hop scene that emerged in the early 00s. Hicks is considered one of the movement's key pioneers that fueled its popularity into mainstream, releasing songs with fast-paced rhymes and baselines that inspired a new style of dance. As the founder of the independent record label, Thizz Entertainment, Hicks recorded dozens of albums and gave aspiring rappers an outlet to release albums locally.In 2004, Hicks was killed by an unknown assailant after a performance in Kansas City, Missouri, a case that remains unsolved.

Smif-N-Wessun (a.k.a. Cocoa Brovaz) is a hip hop duo consisting of members Tek (Tekomin Williams) and Steele (Darrell Yates). Smif-N-Wessun comprise one quarter of the Brownsville, Brooklyn supergroup Boot Camp Clik, with Buckshot, Heltah Skeltah and O.G.C.  Both members are known for their Jamaican Patois during their raps, which was more evident during the earlier stages of their career.

Richard Morales, Jr., better known by his stage name Gunplay, is an American hip hop recording artist from Carol City, Florida. Buckshot (born Kenyatta Blake on November 19, 1974 in Brooklyn, New York) is an American rapper, known for being the leader of the hip-hop supergroup Boot Camp Clik, and the group Black Moon. He has released one solo album, three with producer 9th Wonder, one with KRS-One, four albums with Black Moon and four albums with the Boot Camp Clik.

Tyree Pittman, better known as Young Chop on da Beat, or simply Young Chop, is an American rapper and a record producer from Chicago, Illinois. He is signed to Warner Bros. Records. Calvin Alan Byrd (born December 17, 1981), professionally known by his stage name 40 Cal, is an American rapper. He was a member of Harlem-based hip-hop group The Diplomats.

Tony Cottrell, better known as Hi-Tek (born May 5, 1976), is an American rapper and record producer from Cincinnati, Ohio. He is best known for his work with Talib Kweli. His father is singer Willie Cottrell of the Willie Cottrell Band, whom Hi-Tek featured on his second album, Hi-Teknology 2.

Isiah Pinkney, known under the stage name 12 Gauge, is an American rapper from Georgia.He started out as a DJ, moving to rapping in the early 1990s, releasing three full-length albums. He is best known for his only top 40 single "Dunkie Butt", which peaked at 28 on Billboard Hot 100 and earned a gold certification.

Jeremy Lemont Saunders (born June 11, 1983), better known by his stage name 2 Pistols (censored as 2P), is an American rapper and songwriter. He hails from Tarpon Springs, Florida. After the local success of his independent single "Dirty Foot", he was offered a record deal with Universal Republic Records in 2007. His debut single, "She Got It" featuring T-Pain, was released in 2007, and peaked at #7 on the Rhythmic Top 40 chart in 2008, and hit #2 on the Billboard Hot Rap Tracks chart.

Lord Tariq & Peter Gunz

Lord Tariq and Peter Gunz was an American hip hop duo, composed of rappers Sean "Lord Tariq" Hamilton and Peter "Peter Gunz" Pankey, from The Bronx, New York. They are best known for their single "Deja Vu", which peaked at number nine on the US Billboard Hot 100.
The duo first appeared on Whodini's 1996 album Six, appearing on the track "Can't Get Enough", and assisting writing on two other tracks from the album. The duo released their only album in 1998, entitled Make It Reign. The album peaked at #38 on the US Billboard 200 and #8 on the Billboard Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums. The album featured guest appearances from fellow American rappers Big Pun, Fat Joe, Sticky Fingaz, Kurupt and Cam'ron. But it was the album's lead single "Deja Vu", that found the most success. It peaked at #9 on the Billboard Hot 100 and was certified platinum by the RIAA for sales of over one million. The track peaked at #21 in the UK Singles Chart in May 1998. The track samples Steely Dan, "Black Cow". However, the duo disbanded in 1999 without releasing a follow-up album.
Peter Gunz has a son, Peter "Cory Gunz" Pankey, Jr., who is also a rapper currently signed with Young Money Entertainment.

AP.9

Bishop Shakur, better known by his stage name AP.9, is an American rapper, best known for his solo-music and his affiliation with Bay Area-based hip hop group Mob Figaz. Raised in Oakland, California, AP.9 had a rough life growing up, which inspires much of his musical lyrics. In 2002, he was shot 12 times, which subsequently put him into a coma for a month-and-a-half. He first received widespread recognition in 1999 for the Mob Figaz album C-Bo's Mob Figaz, which went Gold and reached #63 on Billboards Top R&B Albums chart. Since then, he released several albums as a member of Mob Figaz, as well as over 23 solo albums and numerous other collaboration albums. In late 2012 and early 2013, he attracted national attention in the tabloid media for an alleged affair that occurred between him and Nicole "Coco Marie" Austin.

Mutulu Olugbala (born Lavonne Alford on May 12, 1972), better known by his stage name M-1, is an American rapper, activist and author from Brooklyn, New York. He is best known for his work as one half of the Political hip hop duo Dead Prez with stic.man.

Bazooka Joe

Bazooka Joe or Bazooka Joe and the Lillets was a British pub rock band formed by John Ellis and Danny Kleinman in 1970. It featured bass player Stuart Goddard, who would later change his name to Adam Ant. Both Ellis and Goddard would go on to find success with The Vibrators and Adam and the Ants, respectively. Besides the later fame of its members, Bazooka Joe is primarily known as the band that headlined when the Sex Pistols played their first concert on 6 November 1975 at Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design. The band's line-up was Danny Kleinman, Chris Duffy, Bill Smith, Robin Chapekar and Mark Tanner.
Another band member was Dan Barson. His brother gained fame as the keyboardist for Madness. Pat Collier was also in the group for a while. He joined Ellis in The Vibrators and later became a record producer for The Wonder Stuff and Katrina and the Waves.
A 1974 poster dated Saturday December 7 notes Bazooka Joe as supporting Crazy Cavern at Camden Town Hall, their full name that night was "Bazooka Joe and his Rythum Hot Shots".
The comedienne, Arabella Weir was one of the "Lillets" or backing singers to the band.

Born and raised in Edmonton, Alberta, Pemberton released his first album, Breaking Kayfabe, in 2005 to positive reviews. He subsequently signed with the American record label ANTI-, releasing the albums Afterparty Babies in 2008 and Hope in Dirt City in 2012. In 2009, Cadence Weapon was named Edmonton's Poet Laureate.
