    When he's not spending time with his anime waifu Neptune, Snoop Dogg has been known to show off some anime love to his fans. In an Instagram post he wrote, "#naruto aint over yet. Its snooprutos turn!"

    The Instagram video featured a cartoon version of the rapper dressed as Naruto smoking weed, because it's Snoop Dogg.

    The Wu-Tang Clan's RZA isn't just an anime fan, he's an anime composer. He scored the hip-hop soundtrack of the Afro Samurai anime series and movie sequel, Afro Samurai: Resurrection.

    In his book, The Tao of Wu, he cites Dragon Ball Z as the perfect allegory for growing up Black in America.

    Denzel Curry

    Denzel Curry didn't just sneak in one anime reference in his hit song "Dark Tournament," he snuck in two: "Killer, killer, killer, hitlist or that Death Note / Autographed by Justin Beiber, the future like HR Giger / Left hollow like Ichigo, Grim Reapers, and Soul Eaters."

    Also, in the complete opposite of Robb Bank$, Curry prefers Dragon Ball Z over Naruto. Additionally, Future Trunks is Curry's favorite character from DBZ

  • Dragon Ball Z inspired a lot of rappers, and Danny Brown is no different.

    In the 2010 song "Shooting Moves," he mentions Goku and the Dragon Balls in one of the lyrics. DBZ isn't the only anime Brown is aware of. In 2014, a fan asked Brown what his favorite anime series was. He replied, "Bleach."
