In 2013, Lil Wayne dropped his Spectre by Supra shoe line, saying:
"Supra's been down with me for a long time. Video shoots, anything I had to do, tour or whatever, they are always in support. They always send too many shoes. This was all their idea, give him his own shoe and I'm just going with it."
In 2017, Jay-Z joined forces with PUMA for his 4:44 sneaker. Shortly after PUMA was announced as a partner for Jay-Z's tour, the company announced it would be dropping an accompanying shoe line.
