His quick rise to popularity could also be attributed to his song-for-song rap beef with fellow Baton Rouge rapper Scotty Cain in December 2015, in which songs from both rappers included death threats. His first single was with fellow rapper Playboi Carti, titled "4Tspoon," released on May 21, 2015.
