Journalists The Real News Awards For 2017
List Rules Vote up the publications, websites, and media outlets that are proving high-quality journalism is still alive and well in the United States.
Donald Trump hates news outlets running less than flattering stories of his administration and his fear of stairs. So as payback he created the 2017 Fake News Awards, which turned out to be a website survey created by team Trump to crown the "King of Fake News." Trump's disdain for the media arrives at a time when many citizens also believe the top news outlets do not, in fact, report the truth, yet Trump's insistence upon uncovering "fake news" only exacerbates a dangerous mentality of distrusting the media to the point where people, and even politicians, believe in pedophile rings in the basement of pizzerias.
Though even the most prestigious news outlets present biased or downright incorrect information from time to time, overall your life is improved with a healthy volume of diverse publications and newscasts. Without quality news organizations, you would not know when the government shuts down, when a natural disaster strikes, or what's in a new bill. In order to keep up with the reckoning of sexual misconduct in Hollywood and elsewhere, you need news outlets like NPR, CNN, and The Washington Post to keep you informed. Which of these news outlets are still getting it right, reporting the facts, and informing the American people? Join others in voicing your opinions on which are the most trustworthy news sources.
