Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi was left with the monumental task of following up the cinematic masterpiece that is The Empire Strikes Back, and while the film is highly regarded, it is often seen as the lesser film in the original trilogy. That doesn't mean that its creators at Lucasfilm didn't put in a huge amount of detail into this labor of love.

From small details like seeing Vader's skeleton during his final confrontation with Palpatine to the massive attention to detail background painters put in behind the scenes, Return of the Jedi is a beauty in its own right.
