"Riddick" movie quotes follow the action in the third installment of the sci-fi action movie series. Coming after "Pitch Black" and "The Chronicles of Riddick," "Riddick" was directed by David Twohy using a screenplay he co-wrote with Oliver Butcher and Stephen Cornwell. "Riddick" opened in the United States on September 6, 2013.

In "Riddick," the highly skilled Furyan Richard B. Riddick (Vin Diesel) is left for dead on a deserted planet. While there are no humans around, there are still plenty of enemies, in the dangerous alien creatures which inhabit the planet. To survive, Riddick is forced to battle even harder than normal for his own safety.

To escape and return back to save his own planet, Riddick sends out a beacon that alerts bounty hunters to come find him. While he takes down many of them, one in particular, Lockspur (Raoul Trujillo), comes with a history with Riddick, having been hunting him for 10 years. Along with his crew (Jordi Molla, Matt Nable, Katee Sackhoff and Dave Batista), Lockspur takes Riddick into their custody but it's not long before they learn he is not fighting alone.

If "Riddick" isn't your thing, there are many other great movies worth a watch such as "The World's End," "Getaway," "Drinking Buddies," "The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones," "Paranoia," "Kick-Ass 2," "We're the Millers, "Elysium," "Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters," "2 Guns," "Blue Jasmine," "The Wolverine," "The To Do List," "Only God Forgives," "World War Z," "Man of Steel," "This Is the End," and "Olympus Has Fallen."

Riddick mocks his enemies by asking if they are afraid of the dark. Normally, that would be pretty cheesy but considering he can see in the dark and sneak up on him, the question is chilling.
