Celebrities! They're just like us! They have children! They announce their pregnancies! But they do it slightly more ostentatiously than us commoners. Famous folk are prone to over-the-top celebrity baby reveals, and gender reveals have now become all the rage, particularly on social media. Elaborate celebrity pregnancy announcements are infinitely more interesting than those from boring, non-famous Debra on Facebook. No one cares about your baby, Debra! People only care about Beyoncé's twins!
Check out these amazing celebrity pregnancy announcements and vote up the one that you think is the most over-the-top.
Olivia Wilde announced her pregnancy by twinning with her 2-year-old son, Otis Alexander. Wilde posted a photo to Instagram of their matching baby bumps. Can pregnancy announcements get more adorable than that?
While announcing their second pregnancy, Kevin Jonas and wife Danielle shared all the ways they make sure they're good and ready for baby number 2. The Kansas City Royals shortstop isn't the first baseball player to take advantage of his career when announcing his pregnancy, but Christian Colón and his wife Kayla were arguably the cutest when they took to the empty baseball diamond after a game against Arizona. Kayla pitched from the mound and Christian took a mighty swing at a ball that exploded into pink powder. The new dad excitedly posted a welcome message to his unborn daughter on Twitter along with the video of the reveal.
NFL player Torrey Smith feigned that he was taking this pregnancy announcement picture under duress, but Smith and his wife, Chanel Smith, couldn't hide their excitement when they took to Instagram with a Prego spaghetti sauce jar, cracking the excellent preggers pun "We're Prego" to announce the imminent birth of their child. Torrey Smith captioned the photo, "Can't believe she got me to take this pic...but it's a blessing so I'm with it." This couple takes the cake for pasta-based pregnancy puns.
