There are few things worse than taking someone's belongings off their property. And with modern video surveillance being so common, it really doesn't pay to commit these types of misdeeds. Thanks to Ring's Home Security System, law-abiding citizens are now able to see actual video of miscreants attempting to steal packages or other belongings from their doorsteps. Luckily, Ring allows those individuals to then communicate directly with uninvited "guests," warning delinquents away when they're caught on camera. And thanks to the Neighbors app by Ring, anyone can watch as homeowners get the drop on those who would make off with their property. Nowadays, the audio captured alongside the video is actually pretty impressive, and you can follow every moment of these awkward exchanges.

In all the videos below, people attempting to purloin packages were confronted by savvy Ring owners who were monitoring their homes all along. Caught with their hand in the cookie jar, these bandits had the worst excuses in the book, attempting to pass off their efforts as something more innocent.
