Andrew "Dat" Tran reimagines Blizzard's Overwatch characters in the rockabilly era of the early 1950s. It was a time in the American music scene that mixed country with rhythmic blues, giving birth to classic rock. The term "rockabilly" comes from smashing the words "rock 'n' roll" and "hillbilly" together.
Tran is originally from Canada and he grew up in Toronto as a movie lover and gamer. He moved to California and studied concept art and interactive media at Laguna College of Art and Design. Tran is currently based out of Aliso Viejo, California, working hard as a digital illustrator.
