Weird She Fell In Love With A Rollercoaster And Now She's Happily Married

Do you believe in love at first sight? Pennsylvania women Amy Wolfe-Weber certainly does. She met her now-husband when she was just 13 yeard old, but she says, “I was instantly attracted to him sexually and mentally." There is a big wrinkle here, though: her husband is a rollercoaster.

Specifically, he's a coaster at Knoebels Amusement Park in Elysburg, PA, where Wolfe-Weber visits at least 10 times every year. She logged over 3,000 trips on the ride called 1,001 Nachts before entering in holy matrimony with the popular gondola ride.

Objectophilia - the attraction to inanimate objects - is an increasingly visible phenomenon, and Wolfe-Weber knows how to must look from the outside. "I wasn’t freaked out, as it just felt so natural, but I didn’t tell anyone about it because I knew it wasn’t ‘normal’ to have feelings for a fairground ride," she says.

As the song says, it takes different strokes to move the world. To find out the origin of Wolfe's hyphenated last name, the mementos of her husband she carries to keep him in mind, and just how Wolfe-Weber and 1,001 Nachts make their long distance relationship work, watch the video below.
