Metta World Peace transformed back into Ron Artest during the Laker vs. Thunder game Saturday, April 22, 2012. After an amazing take to the basket Metta attempts to celebrate by pounding his chest, but James Harden gets in the way of this celebration and ends up paying for it with an elbow to the head, resulting in a concussion. After the game Metta responds with "I got real emotional and excited, and it was unfortunate that James had to get hit with the unintentional elbow," said World Peace, who had scored 12 points and played solid defense on Durant. "I hope he’s OK. Oklahoma, they’re playing for a championship this year. I apologize to the Thunder and James Harden. It was just unfortunate." Watch the video and you can establish whether this act was intentional or not.

Ron Artest Changes Name to 'Metta World Peace'

Ron Artest hasn't had a real crazy moment in awhile, and I was beginning to think his psychiatrist is actually helping. But, I guess I was wrong. As of June 23, 2011 it is apparent that Ron is still crazy...if not, crazier than ever. He has filed a petition to the Los Angeles County Superior Country to change his name to 'Metta World Peace.' World Peace will not be showing up on the back of his Laker jersey.
