In case you didn't already know, Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively are everything that anyone could ever hope to be. Their union is perfect; just look at them. They are clearly one of the most attractive couples in Hollywood. And they are so much more than their collective looks; Reynolds and Lively are also hilarious together.
Of course, many are already aware of Reynolds’s comedic skills because of his roles in Just Friends, The Proposal, Deadpool, and several other films. Meanwhile, Lively has more often appeared in dramatic projects such as Gossip Girl, The Town, and The Age of Adaline. Don’t let her list of credits fool you, though. She is every bit as hilarious as her famously funny husband.
Below are some of the funniest moments from Reynolds and Lively’s marriage. If you 've given up on love or the idea of a perfect relationship, fear not. These two will surely inspire.
At this point, the couple's birthday wars are legendary. It all started when Reynolds posted this photo with the caption, “Happy Birthday to my amazing wife.” Of course, he cut his amazing wife out of the photo.
Reynolds and Lively have pretty much made it a point to be hilarious when posting about each other, which makes the traditional happy birthday post all the more entertaining.
Blake Lively had to get her husband back for his birthday post. For his 41st birthday, Lively posted a photos of Reynolds with Ryan Gosling. She cropped out Reynolds, focusing on Gosling instead, and wrote, “Happy birthday, baby.”
Lively may not necessarily be known for her comedic roles but she can certainly keep up with her leading man's jokes.
Even though the couple seems to make joke after joke on social media about being parents, they are truly devoted to their two daughters. On David Letterman, Reynolds gushed"
“I used to say to [Blake], ‘I would take a bullet for you. I could never love anything as much as I love you.’ I would say that to my wife. And the second I looked in that baby's eyes, I knew in that exact moment that if we were ever under attack, I would use my wife as a human shield to protect that baby... I'm not one for vomiting declarations of sentiment out across the airwaves but when we had that baby, I fell more in love with my wife than I'd ever been in my entire life. I couldn't even believe it.”
Basically, no one else has ever been more in love with his whole family than Mr. Deadpool himself.
Damn it's hard letting your infant daughter go somewhere alone for the first time. I was a total mess dropping her off at Burning Man.— Ryan Reynolds (@VancityReynolds) September 7, 2016
It seems like Ryan Reynolds's journey into fatherhood supplied him with a whole new arsenal of jokes. Reynolds took to social media to talk about going to Disney without his two-year-old daughter. He even thanked his daughter for not ruining his birthday. Basically, Reynolds is trolling his children before they're old enough to tweet a comeback. It may be unfair but it's also awesome.
Lively clarified the situation by saying, “When he says ‘my daughter,’ he’s never ever talking about her. Everything is a completely made-up scenario.”
