People Reveal The Most Sadistic Things They Did As Children

Childhood memories typically contain images of bike riding, candy stores, videos games, and sleepovers. But some people have a slightly darker set of recollections. While many block out the terrible things they did as children, a few Redditors remember vividly, and they took to the Internet to share.

From grandfathers with mistresses to mothers who were in cults, the world of internet forums is brimming with freaky family secrets, but rarely do you hear tales of evil children straight from those who committed the deed. Some children can be total sadists, and from playing with guns to poisoning their parents, these former monsters have done it all.

  • He Gave His Brother A Cup Of Bleach

    From Redditor /u/CasuallyEfficient:

I gave my twin brother a cup of bleach with a bunch of milk added to it. I didn't know how bad it is for you at the time; I wasn't even in kindergarten yet. Needless to say, we went to the hospital, and I felt terrible despite the fact that every time he and my cousin were in our grandma's pool with me, they'd work together to try and drown me for years to come.

  • She Tried To Smother Her Little Sister

    From Redditor /u/Paisley_hippo:

I tried to smother my infant sister when I was three. I don't remember doing so, but apparently, I even had the forethought to ask my grandma sweetly for a glass of apple juice before putting a pillow over her baby seat and sitting on it.

  • He Put Morphine In Someone's Backpack And Reported Them To Police

    From Redditor /u/thrownoutname21:

Growing up my dad was an alcoholic with a back injury, so he was prescribed morphine. Apparently he thought it was a good idea to give them to his 13-year-old child pretty regularly. That lead to issues later on in life, but that's another story. I had a class with this kid named Dylan. Dylan one day decided to steal my MP3 player and sell it. As he was bigger than me, I could do nothing about it. So, I decided to take some of the morphine I had and drop it into Dylan's backpack. I reported him to the dean of our school and because of previous punishments, Dylan was expelled from the school with potential jail time. I never heard because I didn't want to associate myself any more than I had. Ten years later I saw him working at the Wendy's drive-thru in my hometown. Sorry, Dylan—it was only like a $40 MP3 player.

  • He Threw A Dead Bird Onto A Bus Driver's Lap

    From Redditor /u/afburnham:

In kindergarten, I scooped up a dead bird in an art project—a big sheet of paper—and rode the bus home. I threw it on the bus driver's lap as I exited, and I sprinted to my front door.

  • He Chased His Siblings With A Knife

    From Redditor /u/lesserthepoggle:

When I was a toddler, I would chase my older brothers and sisters around with those pronged hair clip things, which doesn't sound so bad. However, a few times I somehow managed to get hold of the butcher knife from the kitchen and chase them with that.

  • He Tried To Poison His Dad

    From Redditor /u/hello_xyla:

When I was young, I got really mad at my dad for some reason. I was so mad that I wanted to kill him, so I put those silica packets that you get in shoe boxes in his bottle of Coke. I think I only put a couple of packets in there, but he drank some of it. He said it tasted funny, so he threw it out. So yeah, I tried to kill my dad for some childish reason.
